Sapphire

Sapphire is the September birthstone. This original love rock is a powerful stone to gather strength. Sapphire symbolizes wisdom, loyalty, and faith. She was once believed to protect your loved ones from harm.

At first glance, sapphire gleams with power and strength, but her true colors shine within kindness and hope – that’s the stone’s real secret sauce. Sapphire lets us get real because she offers great wisdom of intuitive truth, insight, and healing. A symbol of friendship and peace, and a shield from negative energy

Your custom ring design

Metal

You can choose from 18 karat yellow gold, rose gold or white gold. We use 18 karat ethical gold, which is mined and processed with traditional, mercury free, low impact practices by indigenous Dayak women in Central Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo, who receive fair pay. Our white gold is rhodium plated.

Ring size

We use US ring sizes.

Setting

You can choose between a bezel setting, which has the gold all the way around the stone and a prong setting, where small claws hold the stone. Not sure which setting is right for you? Compare bezel vs prong setting here.

Diamonds in band

Want to add some extra sparkle? Pave diamonds in the ring band can really elevate the look of your ring. Choose between salt and pepper diamonds (the rebellious budget option) or white diamonds (G-H color, SI clarity).

Engraving is on us

We offer complimentary engraving on the inside of your ring to personalize it even more. Our team will reach out to you after your purchase for details.

Conflict free diamonds

The diamonds used in this jewelry have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict and in compliance with United Nations resolutions. Based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by the supplier of these diamonds they are conflict free and mined in accordance with the Kimberley Process.

Gardens of the Sun goes beyond conflict free. Since our sourcing policy came into effect in November 2018 we only purchase diamonds from known origins. We avoid sourcing diamonds from Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Russia (last purchased in 2019), Sierra Leone and Zimbabwe.

    The perfect engagement ring!

My fiancé and I picked out my engagement ring from Gardens of the Sun and I couldn’t be happier with it. The process of picking out the stone, setting and band was so much fun, and the team at Gardens of the Sun was so helpful in sending pictures and mock-ups! I’ve received so many compliments on my ring, and it’s so beautiful and unique!

    Easy process and good advice

I have only the best to say about the company and the special piece for myself that I created with them. It is every bit so special and beautyful as I could hope and expect. And the customer-service is flawless with quick and easy contacts and good advice (especially since I got second thoughts about wich size to choose).

    The most unique wedding set

I dreamed of owning a hexagon diamond ring by Gardens of the Sun, years before my proposal. When it became my time to design my custom set, the team could not have been more helpful in creating a unique piece of wearable art. Maharani suggested a silver wedding band with blue sapphires to compliment my hexagon salt & pepper diamond ring set in gold - and while I had not originally envisioned my gold ring with a silver band, I was truly blown away by the end result! The rings just fit together so perfectly, and compliment each other in the most gorgeous way. I get compliments daily on how beautiful my ring set is! I've never seen another set quite like mine, and I love it even more knowing that it was designed specifically for me. Thank you to the Gardens of the Sun team for creating such a magical, dreamy set of jewelry that I will cherish for a lifetime!!

Two rings, a story, and a lot of heart.

Like every good love story, we wanted our wedding and engagement rings to be unique and true to the love that inspired them. That's a lot to ask of jewelry, and I truly believe that Gardens of the Sun is the only company that could live up to that lofty vision. Friends and family are sick to death of us talking about our rings, but every time I look at my finger I smile, and what kind of value can you place on that? The entire experience was a delight. Thank you GOTS team. We love your impeccable work!
